Model 486 is a 1.7 ounce fixed blade electrician’s splicer knife designed with a Taper Ground 6” 440 High Carbon Stainless Steel blade that is rust resistant, easy to sharpen, and holds an edge very well. Model 486 features a Black Kraton® cushioned grip and comes with a Tan Leather Sheath for belt carry. 486 can be used to splice wire, cut through carpet, and perform other general around the house tasks.
